Vinylly

Vinylly is a dating app based entirely on music compatibility. We are the largest dating app for music lovers and we have *reinvented* how to use Vinylly. Anyone can sign up in a few minutes; no streaming music service sync needed. You can now create an account with your email using our Vinylly profile generator based on your music tastes alone. When you sign up this way, you can create and edit your playlist too! We have maintained the Spotify sync as a way to create a profile, if you prefer to let your Spotify streaming data do all the work. We have improved the concert search, suggestions and ticket purchase process in the chat. Beyond just a superficial swipe, Vinylly has the ability to match on a deeper level. And, when you stream more music, Vinylly uses that data to produce new matches. Vinylly’s “Suggest a Concert” feature encourages users to stop chatting and start dating, which offers a better chance at finding real relationships. Vinylly learns to understand you by learning about the music you love – and in doing so, puts the needle on true compatibility. DISCOVER Browse your lineup of potential matches based on musical tastes. PLAY Press play when you discover someone you want to connect with. CHAT Hit it off as you chat with your matches. DATE Get tickets to a show for you and your new match to enjoy. Vinylly is a new app and you'll probably have the best chance of meeting someone in major metro areas while we grow our music-loving database. Vinylly has three options to view your match queue: $3.99 every 2 months, $8.99 every 6 months or $11.99 every year. There is no limit on the amount of profiles you can view, changes to your profile you can make and chats you can send. Use the provided conversation starters with references to a potential match's profile to easily get the conversation going. Think you want to take the next step and ask your match to see a show? You don't have to leave the chat--just click the calendar icon and select a virtual concert or live show based on an artist or a location and the show will appear in the chat. ----------------------------------- If you have any issues with the app, please visit https://vinyllyapp.com/troubleshooting or contact us at support [at] vinyllyapp.com and we'll be happy to help you. In order to see your recent Spotify listening history under "Playlist," you need to have a Spotify Premium account. Spotify offers free trials for Premium that may be available. Creating an account means you agree to Vinylly's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy which can be found at: https://vinyllyapp.com/privacy-policy/

Percentages are out of 68 reviews rated 4-5 stars, and 219 rated 1-3 stars that say what went wrong.
Unhappy reviews are rated 1–3 stars and say what went wrong (219 for Vinylly). Happy reviews are rated 4–5 stars. One review can raise several topics. Typical app is the median across apps with 30 or more reviews in the same star range on the same store. More than most means at least 1.5 times the typical app; fewer than most means half or less.

After I used Vinylly for a while and spent more time listening to and matching with people, the suggestions started feeling more accurate. I like that new matches show up based on updated data rather ...
I tried creating a profile with Spotify first, and it matched my listening history pretty well. Later I also edited my playlist manually and saw changes in the recommendations. Having both options hel...
The Suggest a Concert part stood out to me. Instead of just exchanging messages, we can talk about a show and plan something around the same artist or location. The calendar option showing virtual or ...
I like that the app gives conversation starters tied to someone’s music profile. It makes it easier to avoid awkward small talk, especially when you both have similar artists. The chat feels more natu...
Vinylly actually uses my music tastes instead of just showing random people. The matches I see feel closer to what I listen to, and the profile generator made it easy to describe my vibe. After adjust...
Dating apps are usually awkward to use, but the chat in Vinylly is pretty straightforward. Once you find someone you click with, the suggestions and the ability to pick a concert inside the conversati...
I’m in a smaller metro area, so the lineup of matches can be limited. When I travel to a bigger city, it’s noticeably better and I get more active people in the queue. Still, I like that the app uses ...
This app sucks. Literally only showed me the same 7 people even though I forwarded past them. And only 7 people. Maybe do more marketing to expand the base of users and stop showing me the same people...
Unable to delete my photos and/or account
No free version or free trial but they dont tell you that until after you have taken the time to create a profile and connect your spotify account. Immediate pay wall before you can use it at all. It ...
There is no option to add any personal info and I'm not going to contact people based on the few limited questions. Hardly any users, location map is glitchy and, although it says you can edit the pla...

Cool idea, but theres only 2 women within range, pretty sure in the whole state.. had to pay for subscription to find that out, then 3 months later I got auto charged for another 3 months. my buddy in...
cant do anything AT ALL without paying for it do not download.
much better than other apps. I swore them off but here I am
I see the part about the money to pay but that's peanuts. way better than fees for a concert lol
gravitated here. i think the universe wants me here so manifesting I find my rail buddy!
Can’t tell if there is a critical mass of potential matches in my area without paying. Should be able to see evidence of more than one user in my age and location preferences before hitting the paywal...
Vinylly was referred to me by a friend and it is one of the better app experiences I have seen for dating
good app so far
came here to find some people for shows and found people I didn't know. we are planning to go to shows together
Would have given zero if it was possible. Make me go through the entire onboarding, then you ask to pay for EVERYTHING? You cannot do a single thing in this app without payment. What a waste of a good...
useless unless you pay
this app is terrible. I quickly typed my name in and hit continue. can't change it. then i can't even select the correct birthday because the UI is so bad. can you select October, November or December...
I was so excited to see a dating app concept like this, but already I can tell there’s issues. I’m trying to log into Spotify with my Facebook, but I never get a code sent to my email. I’ve tried mult...
Only ever showed me the same 6 or 7 profiles. I wrote in to report the issue and received no response. They do not have enough users to be charging for this service. Do not give them your money.
This.app.is a breath of fresh air. My taste in music is varied, but I'm glad to know I'm not alone!
Great appppp ... I've been using it a lot lately and hope it's the last one I have to use.
Keeps showing me the same 6 or 7 profiles on repeat, since the day I paid for the subscription. I immediately messaged to ask for assistance or a refund. No response. There are not enough users for th...
